Bailey's Birthday

{September 12, 2011}

We celebrated Bailey's birthday as a family on the 12th. Rick and Lori came down from Cedar to celebrate with us. We made pizza for dinner (her favorite), something we also did in Arizona thanks to my SIL's thoughtfulness. I made rainbow cupcakes for the little princess and we enjoyed a lovely party outside.

The morning of her party we made a quick stop at the dollar store while out grocery shopping. Bailey saw these birthday crowns and had to have it, and since it was the day of her birthday party I had to get it for her. Too bad the crown didn't make it into the picture and I forgot to have her wear it that night!

We also picked up some fairy wings, that she very happily paired with her crown.

Waiting for dinner to be ready.
(Notice the tongue?)

Checking out the cupcakes. When I gave Bailey her choice of desserts that was what she wanted.

Opening her gift from grandma. Lori (with some help from Haydan) made some adorable dresses and blankets for two of Bailey's dolls.

As you can see she was very happy with her gift.
(Her gift from mom and dad - a doll bed - had not arrived yet.)

Not hard to tell they're sisters.

When it came time to blow out the candle Bailey was a little nervous.

She did give it a try...

Then covered her eyes and said, "It scare me."

Nothing scary about the cupcakes though. The girls loved the rainbow colors.

Lori made two dresses for each doll, and even a matching shirt for Bailey.
