Cedar City

{October 1 -3, 2011}

Dan decided to take advantage of General Conference weekend (no meetings) and do some fishing up in Cedar City with his dad and one of the young men from our ward. The girls and I decided to tag along and enjoy a weekend out of town. We managed to pack a lot in a short weekend: fishing, a new hair cut for me, a trip up to the mountain, birthdays, and even family pictures.

This girl never goes anywhere without her favorite blanket close by.

Lori introduced the girls to the ukulele this weekend. Haydan actually learned how to play You are my Sunshine.

Quinn just enjoyed rocking out to her own tune.

Lori had the idea to have an early birthday celebration for Quinn and Grandpa Mac (as well as her dad's and Suzanne's anniversary). All of whom were present at the dinner and birthday celebration. Clearly I need to focus my camera and more than just my kids' faces!

The cake:

This one fancies herself a comedian.

Monday, while the men were fishing, Lori and I took the girls to see the leaves changing on the mountain. It was so beautiful. We could not believe the color.

Haydan did her own hair. She was quite proud of herself.

After the mountain we took the girls to Bullock's soda fountain for some ice cream.

This girl literally stopped traffic crossing the street she's so cute. Okay...maybe it had something to do with the orange flag. But she's still cute!
